as i said...i got tells from other members of the guild asking what was up with him. I had the same questions and could not answer those members....i decided as an officer to ask what people thought and was to let ishbu know if the majority saw the same. I honestly see no harm in it at all.

I figured why should everyone complain, bitch and moan about the leader and him not knowing about it. I see it constructive right there by finding out and trying to help the guild as a whole to possibly patch things up.

I can understand that completely, but thats not really my point-

Gathering opinions is one thing, but sending out a PM as the only officer, that promises to keep opinions "secret" and talks about how close you are to deguilding because the guild leader is a douchebag just doesn't make sense to me. Maybe I'm just misinterpreting how it was written, but I'd call that mutiny.

Example one: "Hi, I am gathering information to help the guild. Please reply with your honest opinions about things you dislike about how the guild is run. Your opinions are confidential".

Example two: "Send me your opinions about the guild/guild leader. He doesn't know about this. It will be kept a secret. By the way, I think hes a total douchebag and has no idea how to run a guild. Just thought I'd throw that in there."

See the difference?

(note: i have no idea about any of internal workings of dissolution and clearly have no perspective on anything except this post, so I do understand I am coming from a very uninformed point of view)

i can understand where you are coming from. But that was not the intentions of the pm.

I do consider myself intelligent. But when it comes to writing/wording things i am a complete dumbass. English class was my worst subject in school.

as far as confidential...it was meant to be confidential as they would remain anonymous on the info i received as it would not be told to ishbu and the rest of the members of the guild on who said what unless they wanted him/them to know they said it.

EDIT: Also i was told by a few people that i was talking to, to create a mutiny and get the guild back. I did not want to do that.

I'm just curious if anyone else (or scratch the else technically since Xede is now on Befallen) from Dissolution has anything to say on the matter ... If its as simple as this i understand his intent entirely, to kinda be like "Look this is a problem, a buncha people think things need to be fixed/changed and well they aren't comfortable voicing this openly, they think your a bit crazy"

Hell if anyone understands, I do. Thinking back to the 'drama' that occured during the tail end of my time in Evolution ... but then again its not nearly big time enough to entertain most ... cept maybe for the hurtful comments i made. I'm damn good at getting to people when im angry and not thinking.

I don't pretend to know the whole story, just what Xede told me after he left, but FFS, its a game. If you aren't having fun, do something to fix it. Whether that's remove the reason you aren't having fun, or move on to something else.

I did the same when I left Stasis. I did so with as little drama as I could possibly cause (no idea what kind of ripple effect it had in the guild, hopefully none lol) because to put it simply, I just wasn't having fun. It wasn't the people, because the people in Stasis are one of the best. It wasn't even that we failed at raids, because we were progressing every day. I just wasn't having fun and I couldn't put a finger on it. I moved on, and now I'm having fun again. And I still love Stasis and their crazy ways, and having Kajar talk dirty to me on Vent... I miss that lol ;)

Mami you dont need to be in Stasis for me to talk dirty to ya on Vent ;-) But if Shoukin doesnt work out, ya know how things changed, who knows hehehe
