new to the game.

well i guess im not new i played this game when it 1st came out i got to lvl 12 i think and i got bored cuz i didnt know what to do and got lost and ended up just grinding and i desided to play WoW and got the same expireance so i just played L2 on privet servers. Now to the point

How much has changed sence the 1st 2 months of the game being out how long will it take for me to get to at least lvl 30? Im thinking of getting the new expancion all in 1 pack but will i have the same expiriance as i did b4 or will it be better and how many people still play this game?

The game is basically 100% changed since the first few months of release. Largely I'd say it got a little easier, but also a lot deeper and polished. I'd go into specifics, but honestly its more accurate just to say everything but the graphics has changed in some way

As for how long it'd take to get to lvl 30. A week solo. A few days if you have friends to group with. Or if you have about 15p, about 10 minutes with collection quests.

yea you wont recognise the game now at all. if you have hardcore friends PL you and you get 6 hours sleep a night and level all day you could probably get there in about 5 or 6 days with xp potions, or if you play like a normal person with a live give it a month to 70 and another 2 weeks to 80 (since were all noobs there and we dont know wtf is going on). as far as what has changed, well we went through 3 major combat revamps (i think it was 3), as well as a few minor ones (DW - 1h weapon update), and the game has progressed really far from where it was before. IMHO this is a very good time to come back too, because with the launch of the expansion we got a new playable race, and i can gaurantee you there are people who are interested in going out and leveling on noob content

hm i think ill get it but i dont have any friends that play EQ2 or any other mmorpg and i got a life so i only play games when im it home and got nothing to do and thats on sunday - thursday friday and saturday im out smoking weed and getting drunk so.. yeh i dont know if ill enjoy this game sence i dont know anyone who plays it.

dude if you are drunk and high just do that while you play! multitasking FTW, you wont even remember you leveled up! no going insane grinding, just make sure you dont eat to much or you will turn into cartman

yeh but i go out get drunk and high and come home when i burn out and thats like 2 AM and i go to sleep cuz im tired. but will i have fun in this game if i dont know anyone in RL that plays and on what server does the majority of the community here play?

I got to lvl 55 on lineage 2 you think this game is easyer to lvl than in lineage 2? and how many people do you see in the game? do you meet people often or is it rare?

Right now its somewhat difficult to get groups at mid lvls due to the fact that nobody is on their alts, as they're all trying to get their mains to 80. The Sarnaks will catch up though and fill some of that in soon. I'd say now is a good time to start due to that.

Btw if you plan to play drunk/high, don't play a tank. Theres enough fucking horrible tanks as it is.

Don't worry about the difficulty of the game btw. EQ2 is significantly easier than it used to be, and continues in a gradual trend of retardification toward those ends.
