IMO, hardest class to excel at in game by far is Assassin.

I tried to level one but gave up on it because it was too much damn work, you'd have to be dedicated to it as your main to not suck at it IMO.

I played a friends assassin and I didn't find it to be that hard to play it decently. Swashbuckler took more effort to do well with, at least for me. Guardian was the toughest class to learn to play "well". I haven't tried every class though.

It's all relative to your style of play/way of thinking, for instance a person who likes to react during battle, or change with the flow of battle imho would not do well to play a shammy, because to play a shammy you need to think before hand and apply wards before damage is done.

As a shammy you can't really afford to slip up, and react to a mobs damage, like druids can. ( again imho )

The same could be said for chanters vs scouts, scouts require very fast on the spot thinking, while chanters by nature slow down fights to a standstill. Both require a different way of thinking is all.

If anybody thinks any class requires more skill than another, they are retarded and probably just suck at playing games in general.

I've been trying out a lot and I'm finding that to be quite true and very disappointing i think they worked a little hard on making things tastelessly even between the classes. Way to much hand holding in this game may be looking for a different venture.

Yes and nothing really felt unique, the closest i found to that were summoners and predators.

I like the basic combat system and it had tons of potential but that was all killed when they made the classes so bland and basic. Not to mention once you are fully geared and mastered and you find that special rotation in your CAs or spells, that is all you will be doing for 99% of encounters. If you want a true ez mode, roll any healer.

it give sony credit for trying their best to implement it, but whoever designed these classes and the idea of queued hotbar spamming needs a birthday party scheduled with Dr. Rockso
