Real hypotheses only please, this is a serious point of interest for me.
I'm curious if the spider would use some kind of implement, or simply attempt to catch the projectile with its' jaws.
Perhaps the spider performs some kind of ninja flip and deflects the projectile with its legs?
ya know just cuz this is the noob questions section doesnt mean you can say something totally fucking retarded like tihs and not get flamed for it ... if your claiming this to be a real question ... then you would know there is no logical answer.
Sir, I do not appreciate your condescending attitude in this thread.
I was simply playing my level 19 noob dirge, and a spider parried my arrow. I'm honestly trying to figure out how this happened.
I have several theories that I'm currently testing using blow darts and a pet tarantula.
Bruce Lee, as well as, Bruce LeeRoy (Sho' Nuff whoulda whooped LeeRoy's ass in real life..Red glow FTW!!) can deflect arrows w/ the flick of wrist. Imagine a pimped-out arachnid w/ LeeRoy training skills...nuff said!
Kind of like the kicking snakes in EQ1. Maybe it was a bolas spider and snagged it out of midair?

There's a lot of weird shit like this in the field that noobs might scratch their chin about (assuming they even know about parry). Like those underwater slugs or whatever in KP that fire burning arrows. Good thing fish don't fly out of the water anymore in hot pursuit.
Hell, feel free to post here any others that you find.
snakes used to kick you in eq1 :smiley-indifferent:
I am satisfied with the theories presented. Thank you, scholars. The spider must be a ninja bolas spider trained by Bruce Lee.
