new to EQ ?'s

alright i am completely new to EQ2, but i have played many mmo's (WoW, SWG, RFO, CoH, CoV, LOTRO, EvE, FFXI, HGL, DDo, and table top DnD) i have a few basic questions about terminology and a some questions that are prolly over stated, i am trying the trial and i am not too far into it so excuse the uber noob questions

what is AA?
what is a EXC server?
is good or evil played more?
are there a lack of certian roles, like healers?
what is a good class for pvping and soloing?
is it hard for a new player with no help to do well & lvl
is pvp way overfilled with twinks?

thx in advance....yes i know most of them seem really noobish

what is a good class for pvping and soloing? - This is completely subjective. Soloing in EQ2 can be done by any class with relative ease as soon as you learn the strats.
is it hard for a new player with no help to do well & lvl - No, in fact, with some hardcore time in, you can be max level within a month or so.
is pvp way overfilled with twinks? - No, its full of "Level Lockers" You can lock your level and not recieve combat experience in the game. However, you continue to get AA and gear and money, therefore, "twinking" your level 18 toon, or whatever level. They are why many people get burned out on PvP.
