Not sure if this belongs on the noob board...

I'm getting higher up in levels, finally--dinging 67 soon, and if I wasn't working on SoD, I'd probably be 70--and I will hopefully start raiding with my guild soon. I really don't know what position I'd be in in a raid, but I know that zerkers generally get relegated to the Off-Tanking role.

I've been MTing groups since level 12, but I have no idea what would be expected of me as an OT. Could someone give me a good detailed explanation? Pretty much the only thing I know about OTing is the name.

Yeah your job is to keep the classes that can't take a hit (Mages, Priests) alive. Scouts could be included in that list too, but mages and priests are priority.

Simple and to the point. I like it. I guess I would just watch out for adds and stuff, and taunt or engage them before they maul a cloth-wearer? Sounds kinda like what I do as an MT in a group, although I wouldn't be getting beat on by the main encounter/named at the same time.
