PvP in a nutshell

Ok, I re-rolled on PvP again. I'm an SK, and its decent. I'm level 11 or 12 I think, and working on TD quest lines. What I'm asking, is can someone layout what the main points of PvP are?

When I played last seriously, it was on a bruiser. He was 50ish, ad a 35ish alchemist. But that was during KoS. PvP was very new. Now there's so much other stuff, I'm just looking for an outline of what he main points of it are now.

Point is, I don't get the token thing, nor do I really get the whole faction thing. That's all I'm asking.

Tokens that drop form other players (till T7) are simply for extra faction hit with your side's merchants. + Faction = Ability to buy some nice items from those merchants.

Tokens that drop form other players (till T7) are simply for extra faction hit with your side's merchants. + Faction = Ability to buy some nice items from those merchants. Just right click and use em for a 100ish points of additional faction.

After T7 I do belive you can save tokens and use them to purchase some nice set gear, but my PVP toon is only 52.
