Shields are for blocking. A parry is performed with a weapon or scabbard.

But regardless, how would such a creature wield either implement? =X

I still think the ninja flip so fast that I couldn't see it with my eye is the most likely theory.

It is clear to me, looking at this objectively as a third party, that each and every one of you are absolutely correct and I am infused with a sense of well being and self satisfaction having logical answers to some of these mysteries finally.

..and on the skeleton note... did you see the Marvel cinematic masterpiece entitled "Daredevil" or Vin's Acadamy Award winning performance for leading P.I.M.P in "Pitch Black"? Obviously all skellies have sonar like sensitivity. You just have to move very slowly and don't make any sound whatsoever for them to not see you. /gaduh

A spider can parry an arrow for the same reason a tiger can drop gold and silver coins. I still don't know where they keep them, however, since they have just two orifices and no wallet.

That's easy...those are the coins that the tiger's previous victim forgot to bank before he went out hunting.

You play on PVP now LFG you should be quite familiar with that concept.

Tigers don't drop coin. Only sentient beings drop coin on their body.

While we are on the subject, can someone please explain to me how druids can charm the heroic Drolvarg Mercenaries in Rliss using charm animal.

How can a mercenary be an animal?
