Re: How does a spider parry an arrow?
I suppose a spider could choot a bit of web out at your arrow, altering the trajectory of the arrow's course and sending said arrow spinning, spinning, spinning into a nearby tree or halfing, rather than into the spider itself. After all, doesn't Spider-Man do such things?
Also don't forget, Spiders in Norrath are not like Spiders on Earth. Most spiders on earth are very small. I have heard tales when I was in the army about some fellas down in Panama that had spiders roughly the size of basketballs, but still these spiders are dwarfed when compared to the ginormous spiders of norrath. Such Juggernaut sized spiders as we have in norrath are surely capable of varying defensive maneuvers. Look at Terrorantula for a spider that can defy all imagination. As lareg as he is, at lvl 50 I bet you would miss him 5 out of 5 times with any ranged weapon.
All that being said, explain to me how in the fuck a gnome or halfing bruiser can drag Tarinax.
