Yes, the TD gear is much better than anywhere else in the game... but you don't need to be evil to run the TD quest lines.
Travel to TD as a good toon is easy:
- Qeynos Harbor
- Flying Carpet to Sinking Sands
- Flying Carpet to Butcher Block
- Run beach (safe) to TD griffons
- Fly to Gorowyn Docks
- Run to "top side" griffon outside of Gorowyn
- Fly to starter area
In a few minutes your good toons are in the starter area. I've done it with a number of level 3 characters, and it's easy. Don't let desire to play in TD affect the good/evil axis you play.
