Short version.. someone else can elaborate:
Take you average melee attack. That's the baseline value "X". Now figure your average crit damage on a melee attack with whatever weapon you're using.
Then comes the hard stuff. Say you hit a mob 100 times. You just did (100*X) damage, assuming zero crits/other dmg modifiers.
Using that +1 double attack, and assuming the RNG aligns perfectly with your stat values, you just did (101*X) dmg.
Using the +2 melee crit you then get ((98*X)+(2*critX)).
Now you compare those values for each modifer and see which is more. Remember though that those are average values, and the RNG guarentees nothing. I also don't know how double attack works (if it shares the crit roll with the first hit or not), nor how to figure melee crits.
As for what to focus on, that depends on your options.. I pushed for 50% crits on my warlock in eof, but didnt see an improvement between the easy to pbtain 33% and the 45% that I had to sack proc gear for.
