Default what is the best dual boxing healer class for monk or brigand main?

I'm thinking about getting a second account and start a healer for dual boxing there.

What do you think would fit best to a Monk or Brigand - maybe later a Guardian as melee class on the main account?

I would like to start an Inq or Templar as a "real healer" actually but i think a druid or shaman class would be much more effective for dual boxing...

Any advice?

Anyone can tank if you use a shammy... Monks and Brigs don't have any specific quality that would make any healer better than another imo and when boxing I'd choose the highest dps healer you can roll, especially with a monk that can self heal a bit. Furys, Battlecleric Inqs, come to mind. Monk/Inq might be neat because of Monkeys group haste. Maybe a Brigand/Fury since I think Brigs get a magic debuff.

Some duos seem to work out well because their debuffs compliment eachother's damage types like SKs/Defilers, Paladins/Templars, etc.. take a peak at their spell lines and you'll find a good fit.

If I had to pick one healer as the BEST healer with the most sacrifice in other departments for healing capibility, I'd probably choose Defiler if that's what you are looking for but, honestly I don't think that there is any healer that is a better healer than any others if all are played flawlessly.

Guess it depends on what you intend to do. Personally, I don't see the point of boxing unless you want to take on heroic content yourself, in which case I'd highly recommend a shammy. Shammys have 1 important thing going for them over cleric or druid: high efficiency of wards means less switching to the healer.

I box bruiser/defiler, but I can see the appeal of a mystic: more passive healing options (heal spamming pet, torpor, massive regenning emergency ward, etc.), improved SOW (not trivial when you're training around) and can spec for DPS more easily. That said, defiler + bruiser can do absolutely disgusting things to multiple mobs once the defiler hits 65. Defiler is also incredibly difficult to run out of power on slower fights.

If you're better set up to handle 2 toons at once to the point where you can spam heals and nukes/CAs and control the tank efficiently, then you might consider a fury or inquizzie, but either cleric or druid will be more hands-on.

I have an illusionist main and am boxxing a mystic. I also run around with my friend who either plays his inquisitor (main) or his SK and then he drags a dirge behind him. This crew is insaine. Between the four of us there isn't much we cannot do.

I say mystic because
1. Amazing wards that you can precast, then switch back to your main and basically take no damage for 30 seconds
2. mystics buff strength, hp's, and have an AA line to enhance a buff which gives an increase to all stats
3. you can hit bolster which when maxxed out gives the target 42 seconds of improved hp's, stats, all that yummy stuff
4. you get to wear a kick ass bear hat

I also enjoy the mystic because they solo well. I went down the line that enhances combat arts so I can take some hits and deal some hits as well.

Just my two cents

My friend and I duo my bruiser with her fury a lot and do really well. There's only been a handful of times that we needed assistance in taking something down.
