Okay I am getting ready to start playing EQ2. I played EQ for a lot of years way back when. I have a Level 65 Enchanter, 65 ShadowKnight , 65 Druid and a 42 Necromancer. My daughter has decdied she wants to play again and ask me to play as well. So we will be duoing and grouping mostly. Can you please give me some advice about classes. My favorite in EQ was my enchanter I loved everything about her, and my daughter loved the ShadowKnight and she had a wizard. She wants to play one of those 2 classes again but I can not decide which would be better in EQ2. A enchanter or a Necromancer. I would appreciate any help you can offer please. I know EQ and EQ2 are completely different games so please feel free to give any advice.

Enchanters are always fun. Slightly challenging, great for soloing or grouping. Is there anything specific you want to know? I like Coercers myself; especially in RoK. Tons of good pets to charm. Nice to be wanted for grouping and raids, while still being able to solo very well.

I've never played a Necromancer past level ten or so, so I cannot truly comment much on the class.

In theory a Coercer or Illusionist and a Wizard should be able to power through most anything you'll end up fighting pretty quickly. Anyone that duos have an opinion? I've mostly soloed on my Coercer so far.
