Default returning to eq2

hey, I'm planning on giving eq2 a shot again - is there some sort of free trial for returning players?

i'd prefer not to pay up untill i know its worth it

well i was thinking more along the lines of opening my existing account on a ten day trial or something if you get my drift.

They did something like that for eq1 a few years ago....

anyway, presumably such a feature would be well advertised, so it mustnt exist!

As far as I know they only offer deals like that to randomly chosen players who have canceled.

No idea, you might be able to download the trial and set it up on your old account. Some games allow it, although you probably would only have access to the expansions you have on that account.

Advertisments and SOE (specifically EQ2) don't go hand in hand...
