Default Full screen

My computer is an older alienware latop, pentium processor 1.73ghz, 2G RAM, and i have a nvidia gforce 6800...The game has always played fine, but recently, when i try to play in full screen i recieve an error message and it closes eq2...

Any ideas on why this problem is occuring, and how could fix it?
Thank you!

update windows and drivers and see if that fixes it.. also see if the default size is to big or to small..

Looks like all my drivers are up to date. Where do I locate the default size? And why would it randomly change anyway? I don't think i changed anything.

In the options, where you check or uncheck full screen, there is a drop down menu I think where you can set the resolution.

IDK for sure, in class atm
