this is about the most boneheaded thing i have ever done. my lvl 15 barbarian is stuck in maj'dul. i don't know how i got there, but i need to get back to tim deep. everything kills me, and i can't get anywhere. how do i get back to were i need to be?

assuming you're evil, otherwise you would have just gone from QH to TD, what you have to do now is look at the map I linked, go to the #1 icon, get to sinking sands, take the carpet on the dock to Gorowyn, and then swim (east?) to the timorous deep starting area.

if you actually started the character in gorowyn, then just call of gorowyn back home.

i got to sinking sands, but i see no carpet to gorwyn, just takes me right back were i just was. and i dont seem to have call home. is there a way i could be missing it. i assume the dock is the one with the huge blue snakes build on the end.

The Carpet is under the tent to your left as you look out from the docks onto the beach. You took it to get to Maj'Dul - but the way the list on the carpet works: if you just double click it the first place you'll go is there. That's how you accidentally got there.

Carefully right click it and a menu will show up. You want to go to Timorous Deep. You'll land on the docks in Gorowyn if you do that.

Also, you do have a Call. Hit "K" to bring up your Knowledge Book, look under the "Abilities" tab, and you'll see Call of..(wherever you are from). It's got a Yellow background with a white thingy (don't know what that is..) on it.

I suspect by now you've figured it out...but that is what happened. Also, it's possible to run around Maj'dul without getting killed. Although everything cons bright red to you, at this point..without having gotten any faction there...there's only one or two extremely avoidable things that might kill you.

thanks. i found i did have call of right after i made my last post. and thanks for the advice on the carpets. im back on track now.
