Have the assassin put hate transfer on the templar and have the templar tank.

sidenote: are you planning to box both? could proove difficult... but if not, thats a very solid combination.. in fact.. inquis+anything is a solid combination for your plan

I have to agree with the betraying to Inquisitor suggestion. Switch up the AA's for DPS and add the hate AA from hits and your pretty much set. I boxed an Inquisitor and a Warden smoothly. I did it with a troubador as well. You will own all zones until you start getting up to RoK... the heroics there are pretty tough so you might actually need to look for a Tank.
