I just got eq2 installed on my laptop but the pixels are making the screen look horribly jagged. How can I make the game look smoother without destroying my frame rate?

I don't know what you mean by jagged, but changing the resolution might work.

You could also adjust your antialiasing settings. That could cost a lot of rendering power and might slow things down.
