Default Guardian Main Tank

This may have already been answered but i am wanting to start a tank class would i be right in thinking the best possible tank combination is barbarian-guardian this may just be a yes or no answeer but if anyone has any different opinions i would likt to hear them.

There is no real specific choice in race . They each have abilitys that can vary for the class. The end game specifics for race matters little since stats are easy to cap.

It's true that in end-game there is very little difference in the race that you've chosen. However, if you're into min/maxing and becoming the best possible (insert class here), then there are generally accepted races that make better (insert class here)'s.

Any race that rolls a guardian is capable of tanking anything, there's no doubt about that. But if you want to optimize every facet of tanking to it's fullest, ogre is probably the best choice for a warrior and barbarian comes in as an extremely close second.

For the record, I'm a barbarian guardian cuz I didn't want to be in Freeport. I do just fine.
