Dual-leveling, which classes to pick?
Hey.
I heard that dungeons and instances give good in EQ2.
So i decided that me and my friend would make 2 aoe toons with preferably some healing abilities to just aoe grind dungeons for loot and xp.
So what classes are available for us?
It could also be a mixture of a high aoe dps class, and a healing/aoe dps class, or maybe tank/aoe and aoe dps.
Keep suggesting :>

Monk + Fury imo, the only downside to this combo would be that you would have to wait a while on regen. But good dps, nice survivability and good healing
or
Dirge/Shammy i heard works well, but not tried

Any downsides with dirge/Shammy (What shammy?) compared to monk+fury.
Also, isnt warlock the "main" aoe dps class?
keep in mind that we're going to only grind monsters.
So a long downtime is a huge minus.

Re: Dual-leveling, which classes to pick?
SK has like tons of AE lifeleeches to deal damage and heal himself up. if youre only hoarding and grinding solomobs, you can pass on the defiler and get some DPS-class instead.. warlocks aint a good choice for this, since they have only 2 or 3 (iirc) open AEs
so hm.. paladin has a similar number of AEs compared to SK but does less damage with it and doesnt drain life with em... and i dont think sk+pal would be a good combination but... hm... actually... that could work out pretty well

Sure if you want two useless toons when you hit 80.
Warlocks are only gonna have one PBAE until like 65.

Re: Dual-leveling, which classes to pick?
well... furies get their first openAE at lvl 55, another at 65 and a 3rd at 80... quite late
>Sure if you want two useless toons when you hit 80.
thats the huge downside about the pal/sk combination, sadly
