Which class would be the most suited for that? I want to really sink my teeth into the lore, explore as many lands, dungeons as possible, do tons of quests, and really take my time enjoying the game. Playing as slow as I plan to I will most likely be soloing a lot. If you were to play with the intention as doing as much as possible solo which class would you pick? Thanks in advance for any replies!

Thanks for the replies. I did use the search function but the questions about soloing were phrased a bit different and had different needs. A Bruiser sounds like a lot of fun. I wish they could run around the world fast though cuz it seems a shame to miss out on all the cool fighting animations while they are on horseback. Anyhow, thanks again!

Get a totem... you can get 25% and 45% run speed totems.

The best way to experience solo content is to buy a PlayStation 3 and play everything made by Square. In this game you'll face the petty "if you're bored go harvest" mindset.

also, choose a class that has the feral rage or similar racial (kerrans, sarnak... who else? don't remember)... every 5 min, you get a 50% runspeed bonus, plus sprint. it will get you where you're going at 90% runspeed, usually enough to get halfway or more across most zones. Add the totem to that, and you get all of the animations, a decent running speed... it all works out.

Don't ya wish there was a /hidemount command?
