Lately my computer has been really shitty, but over the past few days it has been fine. I'm able to browse the internet fine as well as play WoW with no lag at all. However EQ2 lags like crazy. Nothing else is slow while it's up, just the EQ2 client. I don't know what is causing it but if anyone else is getting bad lag please reply. It's happening on any server/toon I play on. I'm playing on extreme performance as well.

Uninstall WoW. That should fix your problem.

I've heard plugging the memory leak with your finger helps.

When you open your process explorer, which files are using up the most system resources? Just EQ2?

Probably because EverquestII has more updated graphics and frames per second. Uninstalling WoW probably wont help. You need a better hard drive.

Do you know if your graphics drivers are up to date? Are you using Windows XP or Windows Vista?

BTW I have noticed my EQ2 using more RAM recently - EQ2 client alone was using 1.7GB out of 4GB. It was a bit choppy then.
