No, why would I keep them on hand? It was posted back in the KoS era.

Respectfully: "back in the KoS era"

The "adventure xp" section was directly stated by three GMs. I'm going to believe it to be fact as the current status of the game stands. This could have very well been different back in KoS.

Note:

If anybody knows anything about the rumor going around that you should only turn in one collection at a time to maximize achievement xp, please let me know. I am trying to get to the bottom of this as well.

Who said anything about on hand? Still, I kept things like the "digging in the ground" post along with a few others bookmarked until they hosed the forums but can still find a few of those posts now in a few minutes. I figured you, the guru of all things EQ2 able to recall info in a mere moment on demand to tell people how wrong they are, might have an idea of where to find the dev posts you were speaking of.

GMs don't know everything about the game. XP hasn't been changed since launch either. Every-time I run into a GM I have to educate them on the actual game since they really don't know everything.

As for the "rumour" about turning in 1 collection quest at a time, the reason to do this is because your XP for collection quests work exactly like everything else. You will get more XP if the level of it is equal to or less than your level, than if it were a higher level. Thus, rather than having it determined at your starting level, you'd be better off doing it lower levels first, and then on as you level up, that way you maximize XP gain.

I don't bookmark things. I expect everybody else to read them and remember them.

Was more intended to make a point than provoke. Pinski has large sums of hard to remember and obscure data in his head and corrects a lot of stuff that he knows to be wrong. Just sometimes he jumps out too dickishly to straight forward, non-aggressive statements/questions. I respect that knowledge and even the approach at times but I wanted to make the point that my statement was not unreasonable; never expected him to have it at his fingertips but given his rep, it was worth a shot asking.

During KoS I was too busy to be on the forums reading everything. Besides, KoS was years ago and new players may be the one asking and the data is so obscure and not straight forward that a dev post from years ago that can't be immediately recalled is not really fair to expect mass reading or even rememberance on.
