New Guild Jack High

Hi all,

I and a couple friends decided after 2 - 3 weeks of plying EQ 2 that we would have a go at making our own guild in an attempt to give us more to do to keep us interested. ( Not that we aren't already interested )

Anyway we set our guild up last night and what I am hoping for is some advice on what we should be doing in order to progress further.

I know that we should start running through heritage quests etc to gain status to try lv the guild to lv 30 to buy our first guild hall.

We are looking for general tips etc when in guilds in terms of how to do save / make money for the guild in order to buy a hall and things for in the hall ways to keep it ticking over for rent etc etc things like that.

We greatly appreciate any help give.

You're on Splitpaw. Shouldn't you be a hardcore raid guild already? :P

He he no chance of us ever becoming a hard core raid guild.

Basically just a guild to meet new people do some grouping and make use of the benefits of having a guild hall ( When we can get one ) etc etc.

Would be nice to do a raid now and again but will only be when it suits everyone not scheduled etc I quite like being engaged don't want to be dumped due to over use of the game which in my first 3 weeks has been a lot 1 - 2am every morning since starting tis not going down well with the missus

Then quit while you still can? It can be pretty consuming if your not careful...and if she cancels your account you might end up like that wow freekout kid.

Well the group of us who made the guild is Nuzo ( myself ) Peemoni ( My best mate real life ) Blulion ( Now a friend who we met on the game )

Myself and Peemoni play Lawn Bowls in real life I have been playing for 14 years. It turns out that Blulion also plays therefor we decided Jack High was something that was relevant to us and our sport.

I am in the process of trying to get the missus to join the game. She made a character on my account before and quite enjoyed it so I will get a free trial on the go on my other pc for her and get her interested in it.

Worried though as she would not kill any cute looking NPC's such as Deer's etc lol

Suggestions in order of efficiency:

1. F a dev

2. Hire the chinese

3. Enlist the homeless

4. Adopt war orphans

Ways to make money? Ways to level guild fast?

I'm afraid the answer to both of these is to get your characters to level 80 as fast as you can, but they really sucks the fun out of the game IMO. You completely miss all the 20's-60's dungeons.

Once you've got level 77+ characters, then the "kill 13 rhinos" writs give more status than a heritage quest, and platinum pieces practically rain from the sky if you harvest diligently and sell everything you harvest. There are hotspots that have highly valuable shinies.

You can form a guild, but acquiring a guild hall is going to be slow going if you are all level 40 and below characters.
