Default Re: Returning Player - New Character

It was 80 shard zones and all of us at least shard 2 or below... The berserkers I usually grouped with were not raid geared but they were in shard gear or some 1 pieces with fable or sometime bought mythic... I leveled a berserker to 73 boxing with my warden and had a blast being able to duo all pre rok content, just when I was farming shards on conj or monk the tanks most of the time were either shadowknight or berserkers and really kept me from wasnting to go forward with mine...

I know as a monk I prob should have stepped up to tank if I could do better, but being an old eq1 person I still see monk very much as dps(which isn't completely wrong or right being eq2) and I never tried to gear towards tanking, so my avoidance and hitpoints were to low. As for the mentoring I hate to say it but Ive seen 80 berserks mentored down to a 40-60 and get ripped off of...

Coming back I want to start fresh and want to play something in pate that will be benificial and fun in the long hall.

wow, you run into a bunch of fail zerkers. A level 80 mentoring should never lose agro to a true 40-60 unless they are on autofollow. I have grouped with several zerkers and I am a raiding conjuror and if the person is good enough, they can keep agro most of the time. I have to slow down my dps some, but that is normal. Agro is a two way street and there are too many dpsers that think that it is soley the responsibiluty of the tank to hold agro.
