Hi all, i'm returning to the game and i'm kinda wanting to tank. I REALLY don't wanna play the usual fotm sk tank like most out there now, and I don't plan on raid tanking so really don't wanna mess with the guardian. This leaves berserker and paladin which from what i've played on both I can enjoy either.

I have asked on each class forum for opinions and in a way they seem to biased tbh. So i thought i'd ask here instead. In the long hall which usually has more grouping potential and higher survival rate tanking these days of the two I have listed.

Also I have thought about playing a bard class and wandering which would get me more groups as well(kinda random from main topic, but might as well ask^^)

zerkers are more melee dps focused and pallies have spells/heals/wards as their piece of flavor. They are different playstyles, so I would suggest trying them out by playing them until 20 or so and see if it is going in a direction you like.

As for the bards, they are both highly desired, but a dirge is a little more desired in the single group scene.

Roll a Swashy for heroic tanking/dps.

Paladin for easymode agro and survivabily. Zerker if you want to tear through the zones with high dps and ae agro.

You're an idiot. If I joined a group and the tank was a swashy for a guk zone, or PoF, I would /disband without hesitation.
