Linking to old account?

Hey all. I just started EQ 2. I played EQ1 WAAYY back in the day (from release through velious). I saw someone running around with the title/tag "xxx of cazic thule" he said he linked his old account to his new one and got the title. How does one go about doing this? I forget my old account, but I know it still exists. Can someone give me a link?

Just log in to eq2 with your old account. then set up billing for it, or upgrade your old account to station pass.

you also get this title as a .... uh... 2 or 3 year veteran reward. that means if SOE thinks your account age is 2 or 3 years, you get to select one title from a long list of "of [eq1 server name here]"
