And this right here is the big reason for why it seems to take so long. When you consider the amount of time it takes for you to get the writ, get to the place the writ is at, do the writ, and come back for another one, it tends to be VEEEEEERRY time consuming.

yeah thats why i usually do 4 at a time...but i guess i gotta just get at it and be like Rahkstahr in our guild, doing like 12 a night.

Yeah, but even if you're doing 4 at a time, that's still only +150 - 450 status PER group. So even if you do 4, you're only earning that +150 - 450 for mages or for fighters, etc.

You dont have to stop doin the other factions. As a matter of fact, if you pick the right ones you find that they ask for the same or same type mobs at the other guilds. And of course it takes along time prolly cuz if you could just go out and buy a title its not worth anything. It took me forever just to get the lower title I have and I'm still goin to get my guild to 30 so I can get a female title...stupid sexist males...I dont wanna be a knight!!!

Let me expand a little on this for you.

Your wanting a title that takes 40K (Ally) faction. I dont know what your faction is currently with each of the 4. I'll guess for arguments sake you currently have a 10K faction with all 4. I'm sure you have done writs from time to time and, lets say you can get the first tile with each.

Your lacking 30K status and lets also assume your level 70 and can only do T7 writs. You need to do roughly 200 more writ runs to gain Ally faction. Each writ does pay 150 points to each faction your completing a writ for. If your lower or higher in faction adjust the amount of runs you need accordingly.

If you are between the levels of 60 and 65 you could pick up writs for Sinking sands and TT. Zone to TT kill the draogs and COR to Maj'dul then zone to SS and pop the the other 2.

If your 60-65 then doing the droag writs in TT are the fastest. Nice to have a evacer in group with you to be able to make 4 runs an hour. Using COQ, COR, and evac in between after taking the spire back down to antonica. The evac takes you to the NQ gate, zone in , grab your writs and head back to TT.

Once your 65 you can no longer pick up T6 writs and will be working only in T7 zones.

If you don't care about the priest and scout factions then only pick up the mage and fighter writs. The mage and fighters each have a basilisk writ needing to kill 20. So you can do 2 of them in bonemire at the same time, you'll get 2 dings everytime you kill one.

I would suggest (if you dont have it) getting the call of Ro. If you have it you can do 2 runs an hour. Using COQ and COR. Normally I pick up these writs ecah time I call out so I have them loaded and ready everytime I get asked to a guild group. I can kill basilisks while the group forms and zones to Bonemire. That helps get you along as well.

As you get to each teir per say of faction the titles will light up and allow you to purchase them.

Yeah i usually do the Bassilisks, Fetidhorn Horrors and the handlers on the isle of awakening. I just wasnt sure if the faction gain from one hurt the other three (like it used to, but its been changed). I dont have the CoR but thats cause i never did that quest...and wow i need to do alot of writs. Yeah i was about 12k and there i was thinking i had done alot of writs. Crap i got alot to go.

And sure if i could just buy it would be easy and not 'rewarding.' But then again, I don't care, i'd rather just buy it. ;-)

The quest is called Becoming a Resident of Ro.

I borrowed this from Ogaming to help you out. This quest will take you less then an hour to do. Get it done today.

This quest is the quest given to players with kindly faction with one of the three factions in Maj'Dul to receive their gate spell to Maj'Dul. It is given by Raniyah in the respective Court for your faction (Court of Truth, Coin or Blades).

You must first speak to Dharr in a building in southern Maj'Dul. This is an instanced zone called Dharr's Residence at -115, +138, +115.

He will ask you to kill the Exiled Sha'ir in the Sinking Sands. He is found in the desert area at -291, -103, -238.

You then return to the Dharr in his room to find him being murdered by a Sha'ir Investigator. Kill his murderer.

You must then speak to the Sha'ir Mesenger in Maj'Dul. He spawns at the Tower of the Moon and then patrols up past the arena and then despawns. He will tell you that must must attune the orb to four key places. These places are different for each character, it chooses them from a pool. Known locations are:

- Immerse the orb in a small spring in the Pillars of Flame: +249, -108, -676 near the Sunstriders
- Bring the orb into a tunnel in Maj'Dul (-135, +140, +80 works)
- Immerse the orb in the spring water of the Oasis of Marr in the Sinking Sands (-1106, -204, +55)
- Place the orb in a campfire beneath the Maj'Dul Plateu in the Sinking Sands (-139.69, -109.11, -41.34)
- Place the orb in a Blacksmith's Forge in the Pillars of Flame: +62.7, -85.66, -742.21 at the Swiftrider camp
- Go to the top of a rock spire off the coast of the Sinking Sands: -1328, -177, -1140
- Cave near the Eye of Anuk in the Sinking Sands: -657, -222, -1199
- Climb a tall spire off the coast of the Pillars of Flame: +1573.91, -97.74, -63.61 at the Djinni island.
- Immerse the Orb in the Fountain in the Golden Scepter Courtyard in Maj'Dul: +93, +149, -144
- Touch the orb to the earth at the foot of the Great Bonsai in the Pillars of Flame: +152, -190, -1670
- Must place the orb in a campfire near the Oasis of Marr: In the Croc Hunter camp near the Croc Caves: -1242, -214, -296
- Harpy's Nest in the Pillars of Flame: Up a climbable wall at +706, -96, -1229.

After visiting all four you receive your reward!

....... lol thank you again, i appreciate the <3 ... but I am such a lazy bastard when it comes to questing. Maybe i'll do this, i think i had worked my court of truth faction up at one point in the hopes of buying one of those horses...but then i got cheap and said "Screw it."

When did you start playing shit stain? Suck my dick while I pee... telling me I wasnt a member of the Leet Sauce Team. I raided in KOS before anyone w/ Leet Sauce! Kima and friends thought the epic dragons off TT were best to kill for xp at about lvl 61. Sadly we could stay up for a while. Our group was like a raid guild MT team.
