Default Confusing myself now that i've upgraded to gold

    Hey all,

Here's the jist. I upgraded to gold. I downloaded Everquest streaming, currently was playing on Everquest extended. I log into Everquest streaming and it says i have 14 days left, it would seem i have a 14 day free trail. Will it still take away those days from what i've paid? :/

I'm even more confused as i was reading around on the Sony forums and read a guy who said he's paid for gold on the extended servers and that's where he plays. >.<

Sounds like you downloaded the Live game, not Extended. Two separate services with separate servers and launcher. Live doesn't have gold subscriptions. It's just a flat $15 a month for everything.

Streaming is just the type fo client you are using lol.
If you upgraded to gold, that means you were playing on eq2x already?? Just log back in normal.

Damn, if you're doing the EQ2X gold sub you'd probably get a better value from a straight up standard sub on the pay servers and rolling a toon on Antonia Bayle or Crushbone. If you decide to do that, PM me your e-mail or a yahoo messenger ID and I'll send you the non-streaming client. It sucks less.

    lol Yea right.

Live is not a better value, its preference, the guy is new and rolling on live prolly wount be as enjoyable as everyone will just troll him.

FYI dont accept and exe from anyone over the internet, you can download the standard client for eq2x off of everquest2.com here.
EverQuest II Extended Pick the Full for non streaming.

Very few people would troll him on Crushbone and he'd have the option of hooking up with long established guilds who would be more than happy to help him out all the way.

If he upgraded to Station Access for $5 more a month he'd definitely be getting more value for his gaming dollar as it includes all SOE games, including the EQ2x gold sub.

Paying $15 a month for what was originally intended to be a F2P game is fucking retarded.

More like a level 90 guild with full hall amenities full of players who have been playing for a good long time and are happy to show a new guy the ropes. We have those on CB. As a bonus, you aren't there.
