Thread: Returning player?

Thinking about messing around again in eq2 a little bit. How feasible is it to play without a gold membership? Once I have everything unlocked are my only restrictions I can't have over 18p and can't use the last 2 slots in my inventory? What is the round about average conversion rate of plat to station cash? Is it easy enough to just keep buying station cash with plat to just keep purchasing memberships?

Biggest silver restrictions: 18p max at 90, AA slider stuck at 50% when leveling before 90. SC cards depend on server but expect the range to be around 300-450 for 1.5k/2k card. It's also very easy to farm and keep a non-recurring gold going, I did it from F2P launch til March only spending 30 mins per week farming.

Is AoD required for the lvl increase/prestige abilities?

It is not, only DoV is required, however your max is 300 AA with it instead of 320.

Awesome, thanks. Yeah, if I do decide to play some I'll eventually purchase the expansion just for the 20 aa, but I'll need to farm some more plat first, I put a lot of it on my guild hall before I left and I refuse to actually give SoE anymore of my own money.

Haven't had a bite here on flames for ppl selling sc though and didn't get one response in game last night and you would think a lot of ppl were on. So I might just have to shelve the idea, maybe I'll rethink it the next double sc usually a lot of ppl selling then also.

Oh and also I couldn't adjust my aa slider at all yesterday so maybe you do need the expansion for 92? I thought they said everything in later game updates would be seperate and totally free.
So fuck SoE, Diablo III will be out soon enough.

If you're F2P you're slider stays at 50%, regardless if you're maxed on AA or not.
