    Default Most Content Soloable?

    Greetings everyone! Its been a long time since delving into the world of Norrath and I'm back again. This time Ill be starting from scratch on a different server and need to decide on a class. I've narrowed it down to several and wonder which could solo the best when that need arrises (and just for fun to say I could do it).

    Those classes are: Conjuror, Monk and Mystic.

    Playstyle wise I generally like ranged combat. I dont hate melee, I'm just not as good at it as I am at ranged play.

    Thats really about it. If you have any suggestions other than the few I've mentioned feel free to add them as long as there the 'good side' lol.

    Conjy and Monk, when played well, can solo all group and even raid content in EQ2 from level 1-75, most group content from 75-85, and they've added so much solo content after that, that yeah, you can pretty much do it all. The Solo dungeons at level 92 and 95 grant heroic level gear.

    Wow, nice! If I were to pal around with a Warden would either be better for that? The Conjy or Monk? or doesn't matter?

    I have to admit I didn't see mystic winning this race. You always here SK and Monk thrown out exclusively. Glad to see somethings have changed.

    this maybe was the case when
    • mending runes critted
    • tank heals critted
    i do have sk, bruiser (i consider him to be better than monk solowise, because of stone deaf & close mind) and mystic also
    reasons why i think mystic is superior are
    • dps more than decent enough if equipped/specced properly
    • heals, obviously
    • as a shaman spikedmg-prevention is as good as it gets across the board
    • spirit-tap (mana-refill)
    • several buffs that help make up for defensive lack (ancestral avatar, runic armor etc)
    now, with tank heals being percentage based, i think they only get the edge if very very good geared (inc dmg is lower, health higher -> thus higher heals) - but then again you'd have to compare them to an equally geared mystic

    How about a Troubador? would they be good in soloing old raids/ tough content? i too have returned fresh and wanted to roll a troub, but along my journey i am planning on stopping to see all the old content i missed through the years? if this is not possible on a Troub ill consider an inquis, or bringing my monkey back from the dead

    How about no. Even if you have amazing dps or cc without some type of hp regen you're going to he bored as aids between pulls.
