Thread: melee weapon vs melee attack

I am probably over-thinking this since the game is pretty dumbed-down, but just in case I'm not:

In some games a 'weapon' is something you can hold in your hand, i.e. equip, and barehanded attacks and animal claw attacks are not considered weapon attacks (because nothing is equipped). In EQ2 does a melee weapon attack include every possible kind of melee attack? (I.e. everything that isn't a ranged attack or a spell attack?)
