Meh, I post and read the Oasis board cause I find it more interesting then the Unrest one, and Oasis/Steamfont(FL!!) was my home for too long, lol.

I left cause I found a better guild that could fit both my needs and play time then Oasis could. Not that hard when I'm in the only other big PST raiding guild then DD (baby shark! do do do do dodo)

So lay of the Ex-Oasisian hate, mkay? Really don't doing much since Lyxson had an older and much more awesome thread then that. (Pretty sure last one got hijacked by Disso to bash Para, iirc) and this one won't nearly be as fun as that was.

And also, whats your fixation on Pheemo? Seriously, Utopi pwnd that point pretty hard, so theres nothing really to add. Please? All you're doing is giving more people chance to say "Zomg! I wanna have his babies" which gives us all very, very, very bad mental images.

I always liked you Aphao and the main reason you left was to find an opportunity to find a guild that could raid more on your schedule. The problem I have is all these idiots pissing on Oasis instead of staying here and making it better. Those of us on Oasis are trying to make it a better server. There are a number of new raid guilds that compliment Paradigm and I see good things happening here.

As far as Pheemo goes he wont be reproducing anytime soon. The Governement has fitted him with a full body condom to prevent this potential tragedy from happening.

It was not my job to stay and teach the server how to raid or play this game. You get to a point where you have the top players on the server in your guild and it just isnt cutting it. This right here is the problem with Oasis. It perpetuates mediocracy and complacency. It conforms to the lowest common denominator and embraces inadequacies in some perverted form of comradery.

Since the begining of the game Oasis has not changed one bit. They are like China of the EQ2 world. They have never been on the cutting edge of anything, never the leader, never the first mover. Is oasis full of a bunch of retards? No, but they do lack the ability to quickly adapt to a very dynamic game. They are great at copying, just not good at inventing the wheel themselves. You can't teach that sort of thing, so I went where I could find the type of peers I was looking for.

Hate me for it if you want, but at that point its between you quiting or you finding something better. I'm glad I found something better b/c I not only enjoy this game a lot more, but I also don't have to spend as much time in it because I get stuff done faster and more efficient giving me more time for other things I want to do.
