mylinda: i love your cartoons, your creativity is very charming. however, i can clear up the confusion. pheemo actually is not as self-absorbed as people would like to believe. he put the illy in the other group to spread out dps instead of loading one group. there is also the possibility that he put him in a different group because he didnt want to have aggro the whole time. to put it bluntly, he just didnt trust flank or any other tank in that guild. losing the parse to a bruiser? he probably was under 2k dps because he died once or twice or was semi-afk. im sure he'd happily oblige you a more current parse, for comparison. cartoon poster: rendered ineffective.

flank: yes, we do keep tabs on SC. it was our home for a long time. about 6 or 7 of us are in a channel that we all talk in on a daily basis, it is only natural that we bring up old SC memories. i bear no grudges towards you or the guild. well, maybe i begrudge you for refusing to allow me to spec dps. a fury should be dpsing and only patch heal, not making up for slacking healers.

tantris: i can imagine a few people were happy to see me go, but really--you don't honestly think that affects me, do you? it must be painful on the ego to continuously lose parses to someone in far inferior gear who loves to be a pain in the ass and talk a lot of shit...losing to someone you cant stand is very aggravating. im not sure how seeing cary go was a relief for some people. she said all of two total negative comments during nearly a year of raiding w/ SC. and, why do you label pheemo as a marginal player? im not sure tod is accepting mediocre applicants atm, ask anyone on guk.

...i still love how okenia blew up on me that one day, god that shit was priceless. i really should have gotten a screen shot of it. if anyone has it, PLEASE post it or send it to me in pm. mylinda also blew up on me in retribution back in the day. haha i bring out the wild side in these crazy beaches.

speaking of hornswoggles, where is that guy? he was one of the few entertaining people in SC and he kinda fell out when we all left. he should make a toon on guk, or transfer there. i think he'll enjoy a server that has far more talented players and personalities than oasis.

Hey Baume, Thanks for the good post. I for one wasn't happy to see you go, I know you loved me too

Just to cure your curiosity, the result of the parse was because everyone else ran out of power, but I had switched to backups with scintillating phantom handles adorned. That parse was by no means luck, we all know I was a parse regular, often anywhere between 3-5th.

I know he's not self absorbed, and his personality maybe a little bit of an acquired taste, I just lashed out because of my pride in SC, and you saw what he said in the other thread. Its completely fair to respond and so I did. When he flames my guild, I'm sure he expected to be flamed back. (I have more up my sleeve too, you know me But as for him, he makes himself look self absorbed with his choice of words, I just put up a silly picture with some scribbles.

Anyways...
Baume, I wish you could see me now, I "moved to the city" like I always dreamed. I have cable now and my parse is just that much better I have a healing cartoon or whatnot for you that I know you of all people would love, I just didn't know how to get it to you so:

Well, yeah, I suppose I was losing parses, but I am a MT dirge so I really don't have time to parse while I am rezzing, debuffing and keeping my defensive buffs up to keep the MT alive, but I am trying to get better. Heck, even my paladin blows away my dirge parses.

You and I were always cool and really Pheemo was a good guild mate until he was promoted. It his leadership style that got me jazzed off. I didn't care for the way he treated others in the guild and I spent a great deal of my time smoothing things over in tells because of all the drama he was causing. In my opinion your job is to make those around you better through suggestions, encouragement and the like. Pheemo was more about telling people how much they sucked.

I was a manager in corporate America before my new gig in the adult industry and I can tell you a) You didn't get to chose the people that worked for you and b) You were still expected to produce results with the people you had. While my opinion is that Pheemo was a poor leader and his promotion had a very negative effect on the guild; I have no doubt he is a good raider for his new guild because he was with SC as well.

Anyway, good luck to all of you guys. I know I am very happy SC and enjoy the laid back, family style raiding. I hope you guys all enjoy your new home on Guk as well.

i didn't intend to make it sound like the parse comment was directed at you. it def wasn't.

i think making pheemo an officer may not been the best idea, as he was constantly plagued by the stress of it. i'm not sure he enjoyed anything about it besides being the officer of one of the finest guilds on the server. the officer position ultimately made him really resent the guild. whatever he may have said to people in tells, i can't speak anything on that topic because i never heard any of it. he mentioned to me several times in passing that he was going to step down. if i had to handle the mess, i cant say that i'd have been less inflammatory--but that's just me.
