Default Oasians

Ok so weather or not your aware of it and weather or not if you care, Shadowcraft is under complete new management. Due to forces outside my control the guild was recently emptied and ive stepped up to take the reigns of control.

This being said Ive set out to make sc my own and share it with some likeminded people/players throughout the game that have the same vision in mind when it comes to raiding. Ill leave that part to the recruiting posts as I dont feel I need double exposure on that front. What Id like to know is if their is any player base left on oasis in the 55-80 level range that isnt currently raiding 3 nights a week that would like to. I will be as many other guilds before this have to help recruit running pickup's to spot useful players.

Any leads would be great and Im available to answer any questions current at 11 accounts I dont want to go looking for xfers yet until its realistic.

Again any help much appreciated.

Good luck. Completely starting from scratch would be a hard hill to climb at this stage of the game.

Yeah - the player base for recruiting seems slim to none lately we've needed a templar and defiler for a while and can't find one

Good luck though and I'm sorry to hear about your bad luck with the guild -

GL Kad, if you get more players like yourself, you'll do better than fine.

I wonder if Sony could help me out by attracting some new playerbase via some form of advertising... Ive been watching /who *random class* I need and well honestly it seems like everyone is guilded with a prominent guild... The rest are members of farming or otherwise defunct guild and only want you to merge with them... I find it quite disconerning at this stage in the game. DAOC is older than eq2 yet for some reason recruiting is so much easier... Where the hell is the rest of our playerbase and what are they doing. Para,mojo,blacksheep,d12,voracity,infamy,prodigy, perdition, account for the majority of raidign going on , on oasis. I will be floored if thats the total base of players wishing to raid at all...

Someone fill in the gap or call me stupid quickly.

OK! Your stupid.

Getting quality players with well established raid guilds on server at this point is hard due to the player base. People want to join a guild already with roots planted vs joining a guild starting up unless they are all a group of people that know each other. It's the "easy way out" mentality in a sense. Human nature at it's finest.

I figured as much and thx now I feel all better. The easy way out huh... I agree. so whats my easy way out? :0 Maybe you know a way for me to keep from having to re roll after this long since launch. I mean I could roll a dirge and buffbot or something cause nothing that I would be doing would be considered top tier about any class I roll besides an sk. I guess im in a bad corner due to unforseen consequences on what class I wanted to enjoy way back when...

I am not giving up yet, but Id love an assement of options here from people having been in the same place.

Being a tank is tough. Only real thing I could suggest is stick it out (keep at keeping the guild going) or sit around and troll flames for guild openings. You also may want to try posting an app on flames but be willing to shell $50 for a server x-fer. If you prefer to stay on oasis, you really would have to make a class all the raid guilds would want if you want to get in one that is established as most have a pretty stable tank force. Wish I could be a bit more helpful there.

The thing is, people join guilds on the way leveling up and move on once they're out of the grouping phase. You should look for those kind of people from guilds that aren't really doing much but are heavy in people of raid level.

This one is sort of hard because finding quality at this point is hard. Good luck bud.

Yea so far Ive managed what I have from said situations, mostly people looking to growing from low end instance content to anything said raid and acess to decent high end t8 instances.

Thanks for the advice, insight and encouragement.
