This game sucks

I've never posted on these forums because while I was in game I never really wanted to get into major flame wars but it gives me great pride to now say that I have officially quit the mess of a game we call EQ2. To those of you who knew me I wish you all the best of luck in game and out.

As a final statement however, I signed on early yesterday morning only to find out that the new expansion has once again nerfed my Fabled gear only to have my years worth of work replaced by Treasured / Legendary shit gear. For those of you out there who are happy with your full Relic and lack of "earned" gear I salute you...keep on enjoying the game. I for one am tired of Sony shitting all over true raiders cocks and have chose to call it quits. I urge you people to take a good hard look at the game and actually ask yourselves why you still play? For me it was friends, but honestly, that only goes so far. Sony, enough is enough. I can remember in T5 when actually having Fabled gear ment you were a true raider. I would pass by rival guilds back on Guk like NPU / Airirang / and Dark Horizons (yes all 3 were on Guk at one point) and be like wow, they are true badasses. The all white/shiny-as-shit plate gear that was sexy fuck was something to be proud of cause only a select few had it. Now, you walk by someone in full Fabled and the only way to tell if they actually "earned" their gear is to look at the guild tag under their name. Its no secret, we all know who the raiding guilds are and who arent. Either way, this game has become a fucking joke and nothing, not even the new EoF expansion, no mater how good I hear it is, can save it. My gear that I have earned over tha past year has been nerfed to make room for new gear that has the stats that my OLD gear HAD!!! Theres no fucking logic in anything Sony does and I have put up with the abuse Sony dishes out regularly for far too long. Sony is the only company I know of who can, without logic, completely alter a game and its mechanics a year into the game (ie- LU13) Sony is the only company I know who can nerf items so a new expansion can fit in its progression scale that makes zero sense, which in turn completely renders peoples efforts for so long entirely useless (ie- BOTH KoS / EoF expansions). This game flat out sucks and I want that to be known. Anyways /rant off

Again, to those of you who I have had the chance to meet the past 2+ or so years in game I enjoyed it while it lasted and I hope to see you in whatever it is I chose to do next, whether it be Vanguard, Tabula Rasa, or something else. waitaminute. Sony nerfed KoS fabled so the new EoF fabled would be good so they can come off as creating item progression?!> If his is true I'll have to log in my char just to behold the rediculousness of it.

They actually changed the armor because they tweaked some combat stuff. But that's neither here nor there.

They changed Relic to legendary, and its about time. Too easy to farm, it shouldn't be fabled.

Meh yeah... I was wrong, they WERE going to change it, and should have with the stat nerf. Oh well. All I know is my total power and hps both went up, so I'm a happy camper. Tho my resists dropped to the basement

It was good playing this game over the past 5 months with you Ranzal... I wish you the best of luck in whatever the hell it is that you do now, although I'm sure it involves alcohol in some way. Hopefully we'll meet up again in vanguard sometime. :D
