Exactly...when you have no real competiton being nice to the lower guilds is all fun. When you can actually compete with Paradigm for kills I assure you they not be so generous with the pulls.

I'm gonna let you in on a secret here...99% of the time when the top guild on your server lets you have a pull...its so they can make fun of your shitty dps, shitty healers, or shitty tank.

Watching a wannabe guild die horribly is the best way to pass the time when an avatar is up

The same is true when you're the wannabe watching the other guild wipe ...And that's why i always sit back and hang out when a contested is due whether I have a raidforce with me or not. Sure, most of the time it's a one-pull loot-n-scoot... but every once in a while hillarity ensues. Kinda makes you wonder what's goin on in vent on those nights

yeah im sure its funny sitting there watching some other guild take loot that you cant get. i dont care how many times someone wipes if they kill my mob im not the one laughing at their 5, 10, 20+ wipes b/c you know what? they got it.

this thread is the reason pvp servers think pve servers are complete pussies and just overall suck. taking turns? haha. thank you oasis for living up to your expectations.

Ohh and Widem, you didn't disappoint either, living up to your expecations of chiming in on matters that have nothing to do with you. Grats! WTG!

Apparently, staying logged in the zone AFK to help promote lag is a kosher action as well. I'll have to remember that tactic for next time. Hell...why not just park the afk toons where the best pull spots are and have all pets up, including the brown mushroom stools or whatever the hell have you.

I dont know where anyone got the impression that anyone was wanting some kind of hard system in place where a guild can take 20 minutes to prep for a pull. Who the hell was thinking that? Either you are skipping your turn b/c of LD or whatever or pulling in the next 1-2 min. When there are 3+ guilds present, I was only suggesting simple communication so as to not degrade the experience into a free-for-all clusterfuck for everyone present.

Just so we're clear on what SOE thinks- A frivolous petition i file and this is the response i got. lol

(and yea this was attempted payback for you fuckers who petitioned my last name)

Greetings Salad, GM Chandrok responding. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.
I am sorry to hear that Leblorali was pulling multiple low level mobs to the area around the Avatar of Hate, which may have caused performance issues. While I certainly understand your concern since Avatars are notoriously difficulty to defeat, I regret that the actions of this player are not a violation as the mobs pulled are not attacking your raid. The thing about contested mobs is that other players can and will get in the way of your attempts to defeat them. Part of the difficulty in defeating a contested mob is dealing with the uncontrollable factors involved in fighting in a location with other players. My apologies for the inconvenience this has caused. If you have any other issues we may be able to address in the future, please contact us at your convenience. We wish you good luck and safe journey in the lands of Norrath.
Sincerely,
GM Chandrok

Seems fair, sort of (I still think spamming /s with the bubbles over peoples heads would be way more obtrusive), but if there are grudges out there I see a can of worms being opened and the whole etiquette thing tossed right the shit out the window.
