What is it called when you try to make fun of people that don't play but still probably know more than you do about the game after actively playing the game for years? (And could probably double your parse their first time back on? )

So the player made cities just about has me sold. That WAS a main selling point for me on vanguard and the largest reason I dropped vanguard like a bad habit.

When I think player made cities I think walls, merchants, castles, etc.

Vanguard definatly did not deliver.

AoC is looking hella good though. They have almost everything vanguard didn't.


one thing though. are the player made cities in contested areas? or a instance kinda like guild halls were when they released in eq1?

The guild cities I believe are instanced. There are 9 contested keeps throughout the lands that can be built and fought over, but your own guild area is safe, I believe.

It's not completely safe. There's PvE content and your city will be attacked. But no PvP there
