Hopefully, I've been to a few AoC websites and all their layouts are complete garbage compared to flames.

eq2 max settings couldn't catch vanguard... who thinks its up to aoc grfx needs new glasses - or hardware to run aoc/vg/whatever on more than max performance on a 8" screen...

It is in no way a eq1 to eq2 step. The character models are complete garbage imo.

Someone had AOCflames.com for a while but it didn't last long. Believe LFG or someone said that AOCflames.com if it comes will be after launch. I'm sure LFG doesn't want another waste of time like VGflames was. Can't say that i blame him. Though there seems to be more people going to AOC from eq2 then went to VG....hopefully the game pans out.

I doubt AOCflames would be as huge as EQ2flames is to EQ2. EQ2 is just so niche, there are few people willing to run a fan site for it. AOC conversely already has dozens of fairly solid ones.

Since this devolved into a graphics discussion... I'm just not impressed. Looking through the horde of screenshots on the major sites that did AoC reviews, it's not like "WOW OMFG THIS IS INCREDIBLE" type stuff. It's the same kind of 2005-2006 era graphics that every other fucking MMO has exhibited. I consider EQ2 to be superior to them in some (many?) ways, just because they've had 6+ years to polish the engine and the game and all the content and bug fixes that entails.
