on another note, it looks like most of the guilds that have preformed are going to deathwhisper, as well as most of nagafen(?) and probably the rest of the eq2 playerbase who is going to aoc.

While the boards were up briefly, I did see they changed the Bane server to a "Cultures" ruleset PVP. This has pissed off a lot of guilds who planned to roll there, so they seem to be flocking to Deathwhisper or Tyranny.

From the brief blurb I read about the Cultures ruleset, it basically makes it faction PVP between the various races in the game. Say if you are a Cimmerian you can't attack other Cimmerians. If this is indeed the case, Stygians are screwed as they are all mages teehee. It sounds like there is some potential for this type of ruleset, provided you aren't a Stygian of course.

Anyway, I think it's dumb to try an experimental ruleset in the 11th hour. They should have put this on a new server.

A European Server went up for PVP as well, but I didn't pay attention to the name.

Will be starting on the Gwahlur server myself, I know of one Ozzy guild from Najena that will be starting their, and I would guess others will as well, or Bloodspire if they are more ffa inclined.

The actual servers from what I have read are all in New Jersey, just that ingame events are timed more for around GMT+10-12 on Gwahlur, or thats my take on what I read.

Would be nice if Gwahlur was physically located on the West Coast, which could happen if the game proves popular enough, or even Oz.
