vid card question for AoC

Was thinking about trying AOC but when I checked the specs it said my vid card couldnt run AoC on min settings:

Video CardMinimum: 128 MB DirectX 9.0c Graphics Card with Shader 2.0 support (NVIDIA GeForce 6800+ / ATI Radeon 9800+)You Have: NVIDIA GeForce 7000M / nForce 610M (GeForce 7000M / nForce 610M)

Video Card Features - Minimum attributes of your Video Card

Video RAM: Required - 128 MB , You have - 64 MB

Since a website was telling me this and not a person, I just wanted to find out from people what is the very min card you can use to run AoC? I have a laptop I was thinking of installing it on, because I know my desktop I use for EQ2 wouldn't cut it at all. All my other specs check out, its only my vid card their saying wont do anything for me. I would have posted this on the AOC tech forums but it looks like you have to purchase the game to post there.

Suggestions?Input? Thanks.

I think that trying to run it with this card will make you sad in pants. a 512mb geforce 8500 is about 80 bucks here.

Well, I did get this laptop for work, guess I should have said that in my first post. I know its not the best in the world, I was just curious if it could run it. I can't upgrade this thing, so its either it can or cant. I don't mind shitty settings, I work in two week + intervals, so its not like I'll be playing it nightly much, I just want to check out a new game after playing EQ2 so long.

According to the minimum game spec's, 128mb video memory is the lowest. But, if you are running something that low, I would really not recommend getting the game cause it will be a slide show. The recommended video memory is 512mb. You could give it a try, but you would really hate yourself for it. If you are looking for a game to play on those low spec's, I know WoW would possibly run well on it, I have a low end laptop for work and was able to play with it.

that would be like running eq2 on a pentium4 1.8ghz with 512 ram and a radeon 9000 64mb. sure, the game will start, but you wont be able to do anything

I must have played EQ2 at a different time when I had an Athlon 1.4GHz, with 768MB of memory, and a Radeon 8500 with 64MB. Game ran just fine at 1280x1024 extreme performance.

It may be $80, but I wouldn't use for more than an educational PC.

I can't say with absolute certainty, but I wouldn't buy it with that computer. It will either not run or run too poorly to be enjoyable. There's constant complaining in the public channels about cards that are much more powerful.
