Please, the folks at TR are so full of empty promises, I'll beleive it when I see it. And even then the plain fact is they released the game too soon. I resented having to pay to play more beta.

I think WOW is the perfect parttime game. You can do your own thing and play when you want. With the upcoming patch alot of decent gear will become available to non-raiders as well. Most of the servers are highly populated too so you have plenty of people to group with. Have fun.

I have heard a lot about AoC and I know that they have PvP will it be like on the PvP servers where anyone can walk up to you and try to kill you or like PvE servers where they have to ask for a duel, or will it be like in some other games where there are areas that when you go into PvP is enabled? Thanks for any answers.

They have officially announced there will be 3 server types:

PvE: this server will have pvp enabled only in Border Kingdoms (area where the pvp battlekeeps are built and fought over).

PvP: this server have pvp enabled everywhere with couple of exceptions

RP-PvP: same as pvp only with additional rules (details not yet announced).

I read that depending on where you preorder from you get one of 2 mounts, a rhino or mammoth. Anyone know which is better? Looking for some info so I know where to place my order!

They are essentially the same but just look different from what I've been told. EB Games/GameStop are offering the War Mammoth as well as a 3 day head-start and an 8 slot bag with their pre-orders. You can start downloading as early as May 14th (launch day is the 20th) and start playing on the 17th. The head-start has limitation tho what exactly those limitations are have not been disclosed.

Supposedly Best Buy has the rhino, but they aren't even showing AOC as an available pre-order, and they are notoriously SUCK for games that aren't WOW anyway.
