I have no problems with this. I have a friend I tend to play most games with and we're both going to be playing it, for the single purpose of PVP

So if that's what you're into maybe we can get together on the same server.

Well, i wasn't going to suggest a guild for the fact people might not want to commit to a guild early in the game but a flames guild on AoC sounds good. Anyone interested in picking a server or starting a guild send me a private mesasge, see if we can get a list going and get a decent amount of players.

Put me down for AoC will flop count. Though its got allot of hard core fan boys already, it may take them some time to realize admit it to themselves.

When I was playing EQ2, I heard so much hype about this Vanguard so I checked it out and read on it and checked it out more. I knew at that time it would be a flop for 3 main reasons

1) Corpse runs
2) long travel times
3) no instance zones

that is death for any game coming out these days.

AoC will flop for a few reasons as well

Game performance issues—although it says it will run on 6600 card, we all know if you don’t have the lastest and greatest it will lag out. Or you will have to turn your settings down so low it will look like crap.

Maturity rating--- this will bring every teen age boy over to look at cyber tits making the maturity level of game play very low

There is no such thing as a “new combat system” That is what they are selling, video games been around for 30 years, if it has not been done before there is a reason for it---it sucked.

There is nothing new here, just the same game done over, go kill 10 spiders return get some xp level.

Since it is a heavy pvp game the classes will never be balanced. You will have one or two alpha classes everyone will play.

It might not be a bad game as games go, but it will never live up to all the hype it is getting.

By that evaluation every MMO on the market already fails. Unless you count WoW's subscriber base, and then its a success soully on the fact that it milked so many millions of dollars out of Gamers.

Also their combat system isn't "new" its "new to MMO's" thats a different thing. Oblivions combat system is great, but its never been done in an MMO.

Just like Collision is a great concept and adds tactics/strategy, but its never been done well in an MMO.

At any rate, I think it would be a decent Idea to at least try and pick a server and all jump onto it. Then people have the option of coalescing into guilds if they choose to.
