I think this was a much needed change. AoC devs aren't afraid to make the hard choices.

Okay well shit, this patch today increased my performance pretty fucking well. I used to barely be able to run around on day with a 7900 / 3800+ x2 .. and now I'm getting 30ish fps near everywhere so far around tortage, which was about 2-5fps before in tortage day.

Medium settings minus bloom. and medium settings look really good.


fuck. i may have to buy the game now again =\
