So what will it be a LOTRO? Its certainly not going to be a WoW and the odds of it getting numbers like casual/kid friendly LOTRO are low.
So while it may not be a Vanguard if its anything it will be EQ2 version 1.1 with fatalities.

Its funny. Everyone keeps bragging AoC up, but I've yet to see its appeal. Naked chicks fighting is the only thing I see that's even remotely interesting about this game. We'll see by the end of the summer, though.
What sucks is that this mass movement to AoC/return to EQ2 or WoW will probably steamroll all the momentum for WAR, which actually looks good.

If it's EQ2 v1.1, I would not complain, as long as the AoC devs take the constructive criticism in stride and aim to make a better game. If they ignore the masses like Sony and just allow the game to draw money, I would bet there would be a major flow back to EQ2 and WoW while waiting for WAR. And speaking of WAR, their momentum wouldn't be ruined if they didn't keep pushing back the release dates. I'm dying to give that game a shot as well.

From what i've seen with whats been fixed in just the last week, the developers are on top of making very important fixes fast. Also, I agree with Kythik, whats the point of all PvP... from what ive seen with the AoC platform, its going to have a well balanced stew of all PvP and PvE aspects.
