And I'm down whit gaige here. its just a new shinny MMORPG the biggest change is rather then fantasy its more medieval not really applying. Being runed by Funcom is just wores I rather have SOE ignoring me then funcom saying we fix all shit but not really do shit and the few time they do shit they just brake the 1 ting that worked

AO is free for a reason heck they been trowing it people in Norway just to have people only at all

AO: Release date June 27, 2001 I guess its so Old and all that yeah Nobody is still paying for EQ (99) and Yearly paying for a expansion pack.. nope nobody...

The game has been free for some time as well as they been trowing out free copies whit Norwegian mags since 2003-4 just to get some subs and try to keep it up...

Funcom is Horrible to mange stuff and to Hold a launched game, they have no idea how to test or to fix shit... AOC will be no different.

The Preorder number is because of the IP not the game play and once you realise its the same shit or worse then eq2 you been blinded by Hype and IP

I'm in beta, so I know for a fact it is not shit. You're just speculating on things you have no idea about. Just because other games have failed has nothing to do with this game. I've been in the betas of some of the other shit games (ie Vanguard), and everyone in beta knew they sucked. The beta boards for Conan at this very moment are filling up with congratulatory posts to the devs for making such a great game. I have never seen that in any other beta I was in.

I didnt play that one, but I knew it wasnt for me from the beginning. That beingn said, LOTRO is currently more successful by subscriber numbers than EQ2 is.
