Yeah you can go download it and play it for free. My friend told me about this so I went and did it and tried playing EQ1 in space, man it blew.

Also, Vanguard was a piece of shit, and always was. People deluded themselves into thinking t he EQ1 grind with updated graphics would be awesome, and I said from day 1 it was garbage and never played it.

I don't need to have ever played it to understand how it's shitty just from hearing it from other people.

This game isn't Vanguard, describing it as such won't really apply on release, I garuntee it.

I got carded in both Bestbuy and Gamestop here in Nashville and I'm 36.
Gamestop man said it was required on mature games and if he didn't do it could lose his job. Not sure if it was some law or just store policy, but I'm glad they are carding none the less.

just for the record, AO had (with the exception of DnL) the worst launch in history and was practically unplayable. within a year, it was the best (or at the very least near the top of the list) of MMORPGs available at the time.

I haven't played AoC. It might suck. But Funcom turned the worst MMO launch ever into the best MMO out of the 20 or I've played over the past 10 years, so that's better than any dev team i've seen.
