Default GU 38 changes

Here's a quick look at what will affect us.
  • Two handed weapons now do slightly more damage
  • Smite Evil should now work on evil pets.
  • Group Armament achievement renamed Raid Armament: Affects all non-fighters in the entire raid.
  • Doom Judgement - Damage bonus increased from 5% to 7% per rank.
  • Spell lines from the Bloodlines Chronicles have been tuned to become more comparable in desirability relative to other spell lines
  • The following Fighter group buffs now affect all raid allies: Paladin: Vigor of Trust
  • Intercept: If the ally is lower than 50% health when this ability is cast, the Fighter can absorb two hits instead of one.
  • Crusader - Doom Judgement - Improved reuse speed from 5 minutes to 2 minutes.

the only one I don't like is the intercept one... that could spell alot of trouble for intercepting tanks...

I like the intercept one personally. Intercept at Master 1 is a free stoneskin for the person you place it on. Now it's 2 free stoneskins if the tank is under 50% which is usually the only time I really bother using it. Of course, if you have a brawler doing it along with another warrior, your looking at 6 stoneskins. It'll only suck on really tough fights when an AE will go off in your face moments after the intercepts take effect.

I am pretty sure intercede doesnt stack, I noticed this when Me and a zerker both interceded before a pull and there was only 1 Intercede Icon under the mt's name, Maybe I couldn't see the other one. But ya I agree this change rocks hard. And its nice to see doom judgement on a recast of 2 mins and damaged up'd to 35% if I decide to spec it which I am not sure i will.

Pretty certain they don't stack as they are the same spells as much as any spell doesn;t stack.

Interested in ther 2handed changes tho... given crusaders are the only ones who use a two hander these days wonder how much this will affect our parses.

On test, my avatar axe was 100-566 damage at 111 DR. On live the damage was 95-533.

No Intercede doesn't stack. You can chain cast it.

Lol how funny noone actually said anything about Doom Judgment, even if it's a low dmg AE, but the change on the timer helps more with the extra debuff, it's not like im going down the AAs for the dmg increase

That's b/c it wasn't a very good spell to begn with and if its cast time was anything longer than 0.5s it woudl have been removed from my hotbars a long time ago :P

was on test yesterday and saw they had added 'Vampires' to my list of Masterstrikes; someone mentioned we are getting credit for having finished the 'Bloodline Chronicles' adventure pack (replaces the outdated 'Corpsecrush' CA). I assume scouts will have something similar?
