Not one week has gone by over the past two months were I haven't yelled at Virutis to stop reading the SOE boards. Finally, I told him last night that I wish they would perma ban him so he'd stop reading that nonsense. It's annoying as hell to point out the obvious misconceptions people hold for our class. And those are people who are paladins. The paladin forum over there is not a community. I've never seen so much disagreement amongst people who claim they are a community. It's more of a mutiny. Try offering a helping hand and the idiots come out to bite your hand off. Virutis, Mahgnus, Phov (back in the day), myself and others have been given nothing but shit for trying to help. I've stopped being a regular poster over there about six months ago and will only pop in once in a while now.

On a side note, I've noticed a much larger population of people posting on these boards. It's really nice to see people using our board here. I think some of the notorious idiots over there know that they will get flamed hardcore if they try passing their mistaken beliefs here.

I've been averaging 3 hours of sleep a night this week so, may have been a bit nastier than normal but, I have to admit that I'm in a "Virutis mood" today and sure would enjoy their visit very much myself after earning my ban for "Excessive negativity".

Have I been negative?... I felt like I may have been militantly positive at worst. /shrug

fuck'em... moving on with my life... I'm going to hang out over here with the cool cats.

I "hopped into the fray" as I was really interested the damage taken numbers posted by Veras and would like to continue the discussion over here.

As I mentioned, there are adds popping every 10% of the black unicorn's health and I offtank them for my guild so how fast I pull them off the MT will determine how much more/less damage he takes. And Khali might even be in off stance/buckler (hence, the couple hundreds more dps. I know Veras say he slacks but...)?

I do strongly believe that a tower spec'd guardian do take lesser damage than a paladin and even is he is buckler spec'd, he can choose to absorb damage when it matters.

With RoK coming out and possible changes made to spell/CA consolidation, I do not want devs to visit the soe pally boards and see all the self praising pally are awesome post and shaft our class again. In my opinion, we do not need game breaking changes but we do need tweaks, especially "Oh Shit!" buttons as DA and LoH just doesn't cut it. Really minor tweaks like changing the heal on sacrament line to a ward which will really help on pull if we pre-cast, and/or reduce casting time will really help (or even make it instant cast when health is below 50% etc.)

Maybe someone will go wah wah wah.. how much did you ebay your pally for... go learn your class... go roll a guardian etc. etc.

But... Do remember that milage varies not only due to the player behind the pally but also with the other players/toons supporting him in the raid as well.

*laughs* just saying shhh don't say how awesome pallys are otherwise they'll nerf us just *doesn't* work... as we know from experiance they'll shaft us they'll give us buffs pretty much willy nilly so trying to "control" the informaiton going to said dev is quite frankly laughable.

If we posted a video of a paladin just obviously exploiting the game then YES, they woud take interest... all that was posted was a paladin doing well and doing his job well... a guard could post a video of the mob sticking to him like glue and harldy taking damage... be dull TV but that's bascially what was posted up before someone playing their class well.

Oh... we finally got a bit of dev attention... for all the wrong reasons :P First dev post on pally boards for what... 6 months (and before that it was just saying amends shoudl now work again)
