Somehow I don't believe he actually thought paladins were a pure dps class.

We did Lyceum with 1/4 pickup. Here are the parse screenies...

Zonewide merged heal parse

My heal breakdown

I managed to came in third in heal parse accounting for around 13% of heals while doing DPS comparable to a similarly geared guard. The parses are merged because I went LD twice, the second time on pulling Vilucidae (Ack!). As such, the guild parse might be more accurate (I still came in 3rd). Our defiler guild leader came in for 3rd attempt at Vilucidae. As usual, he topped the parse for that encounter and left everyone else by a mile.

The top two healers were a warden and inquisitor respectively. I came in third. The four healers below me were fury, mystic, fury, 65 fury.

Raid groups changed quite a bit since there were a few dropping in and out, but for the most part I was grouped with a guard, a zerker, an assasin, a necro and the 65 Fury. Yeah, we had lots of tanks that night. For a moment, I thought the raid leader was serious about doing an all tank raid.

We're doing either HoS or DT next.

Edit: Guild parse just came in...

If there had been a good shaman there your HPS would been ~ 0.

Paladins can really only be decent healers on fights with AEs or where more spot healing is needed. We arnt really replacement healers at all.

That goes for all other healers Onra.... hehehe

At least our ward stacks on shammy wards so, if you only have one sham you could make second place over clerics and droods if they never get an opportunity to see a dwindling hp pool that they can tickle. When the wards are down, you can smack that instacast LoH before they get a chance to help and BAM!... you and that shammy duo the parse. hehehehe

Wards 4tw. They are perfect. No healing is wasted. That's why those shammys are always on top of the parse. Everyone else is just getting the leftovers. At least with your ward being your primary healing source you get first crack at the leftovers. ;p
